New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy to Address East Coast Gaming Congress

ATLANTIC CITY, NJ – New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy will deliver the Keynote Luncheon Address at the 28th Annual East Coast Gaming Congress, the longest-running gaming conference in the United States.

The 2025 event will be held at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino April 15-16. Since its founding in 1996, ECGC has hosted six sitting, former and acting governors of New Jersey, as well as all CEOs who have ever led the American Gaming Association.

This will mark Gov. Murphy’s third appearance at the event, where he is expected to address the future of Atlantic City, the capital of East Coast gaming.

“Gov. Murphy has long understood the importance of gaming to Atlantic City, as well as the importance of Atlantic City to the economic health of New Jersey and its tourism industry. Our audience of operators, suppliers, investors, labor leaders and others need to understand his vision for the future of this industry and this state,” said ECGC co-founders Lloyd D. Levenson, CEO at Cooper Levenson, and Michael Pollock, Senior Policy Advisor to Spectrum Gaming Group.

Since taking office in 2018, Gov. Murphy has played a critical role in advancing New Jersey’s reputation as a global leader in innovation. His administration has introduced economic incentives that center on promoting the growth of local businesses and innovative startups, among many other achievements.

Other speakers at the upcoming  ECGC will include 10 CEOs of major gaming companies, as well as leading legislators, regulators, suppliers and other experts who will address issues ranging from the future of destination casinos in Downstate New York to the future of lotteries.

The conference will also present a Lifetime Achievement Award to keynote speaker Jim Allen. Past ECGC speakers have included six sitting, former and acting governors of New Jersey.

The conference will again provide outstanding opportunities for sponsorships, networking, professional development, and business-to-business discussions.
