ECGC 29.0 to Honor Gaming Suppliers’ Commitment to Integrity

ATLANTIC CITY, NJ – August 20, 2025 – The 29th Annual East Coast Gaming Congress (ECGC), the longest-running gaming conference in the United States, will present its Lifetime Achievement Award to the Association of Gaming Equipment Manufacturers (AGEM) in recognition of the group’s unwavering commitment to the principles of gaming licensure. AGEM will receive the honor at ECGC 29.0, to be held April 14-15, 2026, at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Atlantic City.

AGEM is a nonprofit international trade association representing manufacturers and suppliers of electronic gaming devices, lotteries, systems, table games, online technology, key components, and support products and services for the global gaming industry.

“Our theme in 2026 will be ‘Gaming in Transition,’ as we focus on the political, technological, demographic and regulatory changes that this industry must grapple with,” said ECGC co-founder Lloyd D. Levenson, CEO at Cooper Levenson. “But in recognizing change, we must also applaud and encourage what should never change: The principle that a gaming license is a privilege granted only to those who affirmatively demonstrate good character, honesty and integrity.”

“An unrelenting focus on integrity is the not-so-secret sauce that has fueled gaming’s global growth over the past half-century,” said ECGC Co-founder Michael Pollock, Senior Policy Advisor to Spectrum Gaming Group. “We intend to ensure that emerging suppliers heed that lesson and reaffirm that commitment.”

“Today’s global gaming supplier community is respected by investment and regulatory communities alike because of our commitment to innovation with integrity,” said Daron Dorsey, President & CEO of AGEM. “We look forward to participating in conversations at the next ECGC about how to modernize tomorrow’s gaming regulatory environment while maintaining that longstanding commitment. Because ECGC has always been a forum for important conversations within our industry, AGEM is honored by this recognition and appreciative of what Lloyd and Michael have created and cultivated over the decades.”

ECGC has long served as a forum for industry leaders to present their views on topics that are central to the future of gaming. The most recent ECGC included keynote addresses from 10 industry CEOs, as well as from leading investors, regulators, and political leaders, including New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy.

Throughout its history, past ECGC speakers have included six sitting, former and acting governors of New Jersey, as well as all CEOs who have ever led the American Gaming Association.

The conference will again provide outstanding opportunities for sponsorships, networking, professional development, and business-to-business discussions. Learn more about ECGC: https://eastcoastgamingcongress.com/
